You are viewing a Prime Piece Carved Wooden Trencher Doughbowl

from the 1800's in Most Excellent Condition!

This bowl has the original patina with no oils, protectants or stains applied. One end appears to be naturally cracked from dryness (see photos) and fill has been used in places. We cannot tell if is a later filling or original material filling.  Not a distraction to this piece and likely has openings from being dry and unsealed all these years.

It is a beautiful center showpiece that measures 27½ inches long and is 10½ inches wide. It is approximately 4½ inches deep. The handle ends are nice and thick, obviously hand hewn from a single log. This is an 1800's piece that you will be glad you found!
