No telling how old this thing is!  When we ask folks if they know what it is most say, "It's some sort of kitchen thingy!"   But it's a Turner and Seymour Company Grapefruit Corer from the 1920s-1930s.   Cut a Grapefruit in half and place each half face down on the counter.  Plunge this corer into the grapefruit, spread the handles and pull up.  You have a perfectly made hole and the slices now each come right out individually.

This one has some rusty spots but still operates just fine.  Would be great to scour off the little rust spots and use or put into your primitive kitchen utensil collection.  An interesting.....and for us......kitchen conversation piece.    And a bargain price too!

Dimensions:
Height: 7 inches tall when handles are straight up
Width: Makes a 1¾ inch diameter hole at the bottom
