Kitchen Sifter Vintage Primitive Tin Metal from Early 1900's

This is what sifting the modern way looked like back in the early 1900's.  The handle moves back and forth moving the lower sift wire back and forth across the screen.  The tin metal container has markings for the one and two cup levels.  It is in excellent working order and has only the wear from many, many years on it.  Photos are quite accurate displaying it's condition.
